If Only She Could See

She loves how love her,
His touch, sensitive fingers that excite her adrenaline,
His touch, that speeds up her blood,
Heats up her ears and nostrils,
He is the one for her.

She loves his bariton voice,
Voice that reverberates in her dreams,
Assuring her of his commitment,
Voice that sounds so romantic,
As it recites poetry and sings heavenly songs to her,
The voice that she loves.

The smell of his perfume,
And his thin sweat odour she terms sweet,
That olfatic product she picks from a million,
A smell she loves.

The taste of his lips,
And that of his hand,
Rare and only known to her,
A taste she loves to enjoy.
The grip of his hand and warmth of his chest,
A haven for her peace,
An epitome of security,
And a quench to her thirst,
Satisfaction she loves.

Her soul is however battling,
Her spirit prowling and a heart throbbing,
The curious,desire, urge and expectation,
To know the man she loves,
If only she could see.
