SCRATCH

Bowing my head thoughtfully,
Having worked abroad,
Flying mind across continents,
And the dirty nails,
Scratch the head for a solution.

Whistling to the river,
Barefoot,overloaded brain,
Through the lilies and frogs,
And the scratch on legs softened by dragon fly buzz,
Awakens my tough reality, poverty.

Leaking roof lets in moonlight and showers,
A direct contact to nature, closer to wild than humanity,
Mosquito bites triggers a scratch,
A reminder of health hazard,
And the laughing rats stamp the risk.

Dawn is punctual,
Especially for roped bellies(so little food to allow normal digestion),
Absent breakfast calls for stomach scratch,
Active ground scratch like hen,
Hoping for a better scratch from a better Being...
