TALES FROM THE BUSH: ABSURDITY EDITION

Tales From The Bush:

Absurdity Edition

By Yours Truly.

Disclaimer: This is pure fiction. Any resemblance to real people is highly regretted.

It's in the driest season of the year. The lands are on contrary very wet. Pockets are inside out and the value of coins escalate. Basic knowledge of economics terms it scarcity and the principle of demand and supply works out perfectly. It's easy to understand what practical stuff work unlike the boring afternoon lectures on the same with a stomach full of Ugali Madodo.

James a shamba boy has been keen to save a large portion of his allowances. For the best part of the year, his "becoming a miser" approach to save is a headline. Tired of taking orders and overworked, his mind is clear ; save for three more months, soon you'll be a livestock owner. His hardwork is admired by many, his success is long awaited.

Mary and Jane. A duo crazy in quite a number of rejected ways. Who doesn't know how many abortions they've done and sponsored? How many boys and men are lured to tamper with the accepted moral code? To save for the best, James and his ilk are laughed at by the aforementioned. Stupid, gullible, miserable fellows who need enlightenment are the some of the terms they employ.

James is about to jump over. His mission is on the final lap. His dream is about to come true. Until the dynamic duo bumps into him. Treacherous. Money sniffers. Baffles James. And takes his entire savings account!

Issuing threats, James leaves the village. " Tell your daughters to bring my money, otherwise you'll look for me,I won't be reachable." The parents defend their daughters. They may be crooks but thieves...

One year on dot, James is remembered. Trying to find his whereabouts,to no avail. Medics can't identify the ailments of the two. Mary losses her sight. All she sees is fire. Jane can see but her stomach is on fire. Jane can't withstand any more she tells her mom goodbye,"I'd better leave than withstand the fireworks."

After attending her funeral service, every one leaves in bowed heads, cursing evil that has befallen them. The blind girl is the one who admits what they did, desperately calling for help to restore her sight.
